Jaya Patten Joins IRM’s Finance and Investment Committee
We are pleased to announce that Jaya Patten will be joining the IRM’s Finance and Investment Committee.
Jaya brings a wealth of experience from across the global financial landscape. With a background in investment banking and capital markets consultancy, he offers a unique blend of financial expertise, investment insight, and governance know-how. His career spans more than 25 years at major institutions including Morgan Stanley, Crédit Agricole, and Bank of Scotland/Lloyds, before establishing his own advisory firm in 2011.
His experience advising Family Offices and Institutional Investors gives him a nuanced understanding of both public and private markets, particularly in the realms of investment management, risk assessment, and governance.
Currently, Jaya is focused on supporting Governments, Sovereign Wealth Funds, and NGOs in the Global South. His work helps these institutions tap into innovative capital markets solutions to address climate change, build economic resilience, and fund sustainable development.
Jaya’s commitment to advancing risk management aligns strongly with IRM’s mission. He is particularly enthusiastic about contributing to IRM’s financial strategy and promoting best practices and thought leadership—especially in emerging and developing economies.
We are delighted to welcome Jaya to the Committee and look forward to the valuable perspective and leadership he will bring.
